Sporting activities

  • Golfing – the ArtVilla is the ideal starting point for popular golf courses in the Lake Constance region.
  • Rowing – with the hotel's own rowing boat directly from the hotel or a sports rowing boat from the rowing club 300m away – alone or accompanied
  • Paddling – with our own paddleboats or canoes directly from the hotel's private lakefront property. Another great experience is paddling down the Rhine as far as you like; you could even go as far as Schaffhausen and then return by car – we'd be happy to accompany you.
  • Stand-up paddling - the Artvilla has its own paddling board
  • Sailing – at the sailing school
  • Swimming – directly from the hotel at any time; for longer distances we will also accompany you by boat.
  • Swimming in the Rhine – it's especially fun to float down the nearby Rhine when the temperatures are suitable, or to swim 4-10 km depending on your mood and how you feel on the day. We'll pick you up by car – of course, we'd love to swim with you.
  • Cycling – countless fantastic bike tours – if you know the routes – are available in the immediate and surrounding area. Flat or hilly, mostly with magnificent panoramic views. We would be happy to show you the routes or accompany you.
  • Hiking – many attractive hiking trails, often offering magnificent views of Lake Constance, can be found around the Lower Lake (Untersee), and are often accessible by train, bus, or boat. We'll show you all of them – including those in the nearby Alpine foothills, perfect for a day trip.
  • Horse riding – there are two riding stables not far from ArtVilla. Both offer private and group riding lessons. With the necessary experience and our assistance, you can also arrange horseback riding in our unique lake district. Just ask; your host will be happy to accompany you.
  • Climbing – the nearby Danube Valley or the neighboring Swiss and Austrian Alps offer endless climbing routes and via ferratas. We know many of them, are experts in the field, and would be happy to climb with you.
  • Water skiing – if you fancy water skiing (single or pair), or even waveboarding or disc skiing, we'll organize the water ski boat for you and gladly accompany you. Hot air ballooning – this unique and truly affordable experience, a flight over Lake Constance (depending on the wind direction), is something you shouldn't miss. We'd be happy to organize it for you.
